SLIPKNOT's video for the song "Sulfur" can be viewed below. (Note: Video stream may not be available to some non-U.S. residents.) The clip was shot on March 9 in the Los Angeles area and was directed by band percussionist Shawn Crahan (a.k.a. Clown) and P.R. Brown (MÖTLEY CRÜE, MARILYN MANSON, CHIMAIRA, AVENGED SEVENFOLD), who helmed the last two SLIPKNOT clips, "Psychosocial" and "Dead Memories". The video depicts the nine members rocking out in groups of three and submerged in water one at a time. The video concept was modeled after a video installation by Bill Viola called "Ascension" that's currently on display at the Des Moines Arts Center.

Crahan told HeadbangersBlog.com about the clip, "This is the third video I've done with Paul Brown and with each video we learn more about each other and the art of SLIPKNOT, and we build on that knowledge with each new project. It's great to jump around and try new people, but sometimes it's better to stay with a winning team.

"When I write a treatment, I always think, 'What has SLIPKNOT not done? What can we embark upon that will be fun and knowledge-enhancing instead of the same old song and dance?' Our business can be routine, so I need the band to be able to do something brand new so we can look back at it later and say, 'God, this was different and fun and really artistic.'"

The "Sulfur" video will debut on this weekend's edition of MTV2's "Headbangers Ball".

According to an April 7 posting on Shawn "Clown" Crahan's Twitter account, he is currently editing a new DVD for the band's forthcoming ten-year package. "Wait until you see this stuff!" he says.

SLIPKNOT recently wrapped another hugely successful headline tour across the U.S. and continues to rack up accolades for its fourth album, "All Hope is Gone".

SLIPKNOT was awarded with an EMMA Award for "Best International Act." The EMMAs are the Finnish equivalent of the Grammys.

These shows will mark SLIPKNOT's first headline run in Canada since the release of the band's 2004 platinum-selling "Vol. 3: The Subliminal Verses" album.

The Pulse of Radio reports: SLIPKNOT frontman Corey Taylor is one of the millions of fans who will head to theaters this weekend to see the long-awaited adaptation of "Watchmen", the best-selling graphic novel that is considered one of the greatest comic book tales of all time. But while Taylor is a huge "Watchmen" fan, he's even more enamored of a comic book series called "The Preacher". "'The Preacher' is basically kind of a road story with a little religion, a little science fiction, a little Tarantino-esque kind of vibe to it," he said. "It's just one of the best comics ever. It's funny, it's intelligent, it's grotesque, it's offensive, it's brilliant. It's just a great story. Read it, and I guarantee you you'll dig it."

"Watchmen" comes out on Friday (March 6) and stars Jackie Earle Haley, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Malin Akerman, Billy Crudup, Patrick Wilson and Matthew Goode as a retired team of superheroes who uncover a monstrous conspiracy.

Taylor's also a huge "Dark Knight" fan and does a pretty good impersonation of Heath Ledger as the Joker. But he says he doesn't have much interest in acting in movies himself. "I have no aspirations to really get into acting, you know," he said. "I mean, it's something that — I've always wanted to write for movies, you know, I've always wanted to write a screenplay and I've written a couple in the past and what not. But yeah, if it happens, it happens, you know. It's not something that I pursue."

Bryan Odell, a correspondent for "The Omaha Buzz", a weekly entertainment show on WOWT in Omaha, has uploaded a video report from the January 25 SLIPKNOT/TRIVIUM concert at the Mid-America Center in Council Bluffs, Iowa. The nine-minute clip, which includes interview footage with TRIVIUM's Matt Heafy and SLIPKNOT's Chris Fehn, can be viewed below.

According to The Pulse of Radio, SLIPKNOT frontman Corey Taylor happens to be a huge comic book geek, and if there's one thing he's looking forward to this year, it's next month's long-awaited release of the movie "Watchmen", based on a graphic novel that's considered by many fans as the Holy Grail of comic books. Taylor explained to The Pulse of Radio why he's "stoked" for the movie's March 6 arrival. "This is a movie that a lot of people have been waiting 20 years for, and I am ecstatic," he said. "I mean, just from the trailers I've seen, it looks incredible. I think the casting was done really well. I think it's got the potential. I'll be off the road and I'll be able to go to a theater and go see this movie. I think it's gonna be really good. I'm hoping it's going to be really good."

SLIPKNOT is currently in the midst of a 33-city headlining tour that stops in Tulsa, Oklahoma on Monday (February 23).

The band will headline Columbus, Ohio's Rock On The Range festival in May and will hit the European festival circuit in June and July.
