A teaser for SLIPKNOT's "Dead Memories" video can be viewed below. The clip was helmed by director P.R. Brown, who has previously worked with MÖTLEY CRÜE, MARILYN MANSON, CHIMAIRA and AVENGED SEVENFOLD, among others. The full video will be unveiled on October 25.

SLIPKNOT has issued the following update:

"After numerous flights we arrived in Nagoya, Japan two days ago. Joey [Jordison, drums] is on fire and we had a killer rehearsal with the full band. Tonight is the first — it's on! We just shot a video for 'Dead Memories' that we'll be unleashing to the world in the next couple weeks. This one is psychological — you're in for a journey. We're just starting a world tour — so we hope to see all of you."

The "Dead Memories" video was directed by P.R. Brown, who has previously worked with MÖTLEY CRÜE, MARILYN MANSON, CHIMAIRA and AVENGED SEVENFOLD.

“Oh dude, of course,” Gray exclaims, when asked if there’s nostalgia surrounding the effort. “I’ve been in bands since I was a young tenager and with that ‘99 record, I just think of all the shit you go through before you sign a record deal. Everything else we had done before that was self-produced and self-done and we had to sell them ourselves; they weren’t in stores. We had to go talk the local music store into selling our CD. Everywhere we went when we’d play shows, we go into the town and talk to the local stores about selling our CD. Big chains like Best Buy weren’t taking anything from a local musician or an unsigned band, so going through all that work and then finally getting to the point where you get noticed, actually sign a deal and know that your record is going to be coming out on a mass scale... that’s awesome."
