Mark The Shark of the Pensacola, Florida radio station WTKX 101.5 FM (TK101) conducted an interview with SLIPKNOT vocalist Corey Taylor before the band's February 19, 2009 performance at the Pensacola Civic Center. Watch the chat in two parts below.

Corey Taylor of SLIPKNOT took over Q101.1 in Chicago, where the vocalist played some music off his iPod, including SLAYER, MICHAEL JACKSON, MOTÖRHEAD, NEW KIDS ON THE BLOCK, JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE, and RICK ASTLEY before Corey got "Rickrolled" out of the studio by the station's manager. When SLIPKNOT performed in London, England on on the band's European tour late last year, guitarist Jim Root and Fender got together and went through Jim's gear. The ten-minute clip can be viewed below.

SLIPKNOT has been confirmed for this year's edition of the Metaltown festival, set to take place June 27-28, 2009 at Frihamnen in Gothenburg, Sweden.

SLIPKNOT, THE PRODIGY, MÖTLEY CRÜE, KORN, PENDULUM, DRAGONFORCE and DEVILDRIVER are the first confirmed bands for this year's edition of the the U.K.'s Download festival, set to take place over the weekend of June 12-14, 2009. More bands will be announced soon.

The Download festival is a three-day music festival held annually at Donington Park (which hosted the Monsters of Rock festivals between 1980 and 1996, and 2002's Ozzfest). It takes place at the end of spring, and is owned and managed by Live Nation.

Norwegian national television channel NRK aired a report on the moshpit phenomenon as part of its "Lydverket" music program. The eight-minute segment, which includes interviews with members of SLIPKNOT, IN FLAMES and DISTURBED, can be viewed below.
